Baseboards, long boards and a job well done

Baseboards you will be the death of me. About half of the upstairs has wood baseboards, including the fireplace and a little open shelving. Painting these things were a must and they definitely took more time then I thought, but isn't that always the case.

First we had to rough them up a bit with sand paper to get the primer to stick. After we did 2 nights of this, we then used a rag with a little TSP to wipe them down. After letting that dry we got right in to priming. We primed, then painted 2 coats of just basic white. While putting the final coat Deek came up with this genius idea.

Sit on the long board with the paint and you can just scoot along... genius I tell ya.
