We'll Leave the Light On

We had this light on our porch when we moved in . It was one of the first things I tried to replace. I went to Lowe's, bought a new light, and brought it home and when Deek tried to install it he realized he needed a mounting plate or something else to mount it (I cant remember, these are things for boys to worry about right?) Anyway being me and always wanting to do the easiest, fastest thing, oh and did I mention cheapest? I just decided to give the old light a good clean and repaint it. So after a good scrub and a fresh coat of black spray paint this is how it turned out.
