Curry and Naan

I love curry to no end. If I could I would probably eat it every night. I love it so much anything makes me craved it. Take for instance the night I was sitting in my Art History class listening to my teacher who is Indian and she made me in the mood for curry. Weird right? I think so. So that night I made Deek take me out for Indian food.
Derrik's aunt gave me a curry recipe and I was so excited to try but I knew I had to make Naan bread with it since that is half the reason for my love for Indian food. I found this recipe on allrecipes.com (awesome site) It was so good. Me and Deek were in Heaven. It was such an easy dinner too. This naan recipe is good for many dishes. I made some a few nights ago for some gyros I made. It was delish.

Chicken Curry
1 Tbs. butter
1/8 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken
1/4 cup coconut milk
1-2 tsp. curry powder
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbs lemon juice

Grilled chicken (I grilled the chicken on my George Foreman grill)
4 cups cooked rice

Saute onion in butter in saucepan. Add soup milk, curry powder, and sour cream. Heat. Serve over grilled chicken and rice.
Add Curry powder and lemon juice to taste

Naan
(makes about 14)
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast (1package)
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
3 Tbs. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 cups flour
garlic, minced (optional)
1/4 cup melted butter

In large bowl dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for about 10 minutes, or until frothy. Stir in sugar, milk, egg, salt and enough flour to make soft dough. Knead for 6-8 minutes on lightly floured surface, or until smooth. Place dough in well oiled bowl and coved with damp cloth for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Punch down dough and pinch off small handfuls, about golfball size. Roll into balls and place on tray. Cover with towel and let rise till dough doubles in size, about 30 minutes.
Roll out dough into a thin circle. Lightly butter one side and place on grill, I use my George Foreman grill this way it cooks both sides at once. Butter other side and spread minced garlic. Close grill, if you are using The Foreman grill, and cook for about 3 minutes. Continue with all the dough.
